The Digestive CARE Motility and Constipation Center of Excellent CARE successfully evaluates and treats patients with common issues such as refractory heartburn, non-cardiac chest pain and swallowing difficulties with advanced technologies not commonly found in many gastroenterology practices.

Patient Disorders:

  • Refractory heartburn
  • Non-cardiac chest pain
  • Swallowing difficulties due to non-mechanical causes
  • Chronic cough thought to be due to reflux disease
  • Gastroparesis
  • Chronic constipation and fecal incontinence
  • Rectal, anal and pelvic pain

Studies performed include:

  • High resolution esophageal manometry with impedance
  • 24-hour ambulatory esophageal pH with and without impedance
  • Bravo 48-hour wireless pH studies
  • 24-hour pharyngeal pH studies
  • State of the art diagnostic equipment
  • 3D high resolution anal rectal manometry and EMG studies.

After completion of the testing, patients are directed toward the appropriate therapy. Patients will have integration with Digestive CARE experts in treating esophageal disorders and irritable bowel as well as full spectrum nutritional counseling.
